Between September 1 and October 30, 2026, the first 50 groomers to sign up become founding members: your subscription price ($39 Basic / $49 Pro per month) is locked and will never rise for as long as your account exists — even when standard prices go up after launch. The lock applies automatically; there is no code to enter.
You get full access to the Pro plan for 30 days — no credit card required. Set up your booking page, add your services, and invite your first clients. If you choose to continue, you pick a plan. If not, you can just walk away. No charges, no hassle.
No. We charge a flat monthly fee and nothing more from our side. If you enable online payments through Stripe, Stripe applies their own standard card processing fee — that's between you and Stripe. Beyond that, your revenue is entirely yours.
Clients get a clean 4-step booking flow: they enter their details, add their dog (breed, size, any notes), pick a service, then choose a date and time. The whole thing takes about 2 minutes. You can see it live at groomersbase.com/book/happypaws.
That's up to you. You can set your booking mode to require your approval before a booking is confirmed, or switch to instant confirmation so slots are booked automatically. You can change this any time in your settings.
On the Pro plan, clients can join your waiting list when there are no available slots. If a cancellation comes in, they're notified automatically and given a time-limited window to accept the slot. It fills your cancelled appointments without any effort from you.
Yes. Mobile groomers — those who travel to clients' homes in their van — can add a travel fee and define their service area. Your booking page and all tools work exactly the same way; the difference is just how you deliver the service.
Yes. Via Stripe Connect you can take a deposit (fixed amount or percentage) or the full payment when a client books. You'll need to connect your Stripe account in settings — it takes a few minutes and you're set up.
Absolutely. Stripe is optional — you can run the whole platform without it. Online payments are a feature you turn on only when you're ready. Everything else — booking, calendar, reminders, report cards — works without Stripe connected.
